Hi, I’m Alex Harry

I’m fully independent singer-songwriter from Coventry, UK.

I’ve loved music my whole life but I didn’t start playing guitar until I was 11, and started singing around 13 — only because I was forced to for an assignment at school. The teacher actually told me I should stick to guitar, but I kept practising anyway, and I’ve been singing ever since!

At 15, I started busking and doing loads of open mics, which taught me a lot about performing and connecting with people.

From the ages of 23–25, I was in a rock band playing guitar and vocals. It was a crazy time touring around the UK and Europe. We were doing really well, but unfortunately it eventually had to come to an end.

In 2021, I somehow ended up on The Voice UK, where I made it to the quarter-finals. It was terrifying, but also a really cool experience getting to see everything behind the scenes. The same year, I released my first original song, Feet Don’t Fail Me, which was later featured on Love Island UK & USA. Since then, I’ve continued writing and releasing music independently.

After The Voice, I got the opportunity to do a few small tours in Norway, which was amazing. I got to travel to some beautiful places, meet loads of great people, and play some really cool venues and stages.

Over the last few years, I’ve been focusing more on songwriting and trying to build an online presence and find my audience. I’ve been working on things behind the scenes, and along the way, some really cool things have happened — including my cover of Edge of Seventeen being featured on The Traitors UK, which was pretty surreal.

Most of the music I make sits somewhere in the indiepop / singer-songwriter world. I love music that feels nostalgic and honest — songs that sound like memories, late-night drives, missed chances, and conversations you replay in your head afterwards. I love blending emotional lyrics with warm guitars, retro textures, and melodies that hopefully stay in your head for a while.

Anyway — thanks for being here and listening to what I make. It genuinely means a lot.

Love you in the face, bye!
